Sun, sea, sand and relaxation are the very essence of Kos, an island that exudes typical Greek charm. Mountain villages, whitewashed houses and hillsides covered with lush Cypress groves are endless, as are the magnificent sandy beaches. The island’s capital, Kos Town, has a picturesque harbour and a good selection of tavernas, cafés and bars, coming to life at night with a buzzing pub/club scene.

A boat trip across the Aegean Sea to Nissyros is a must; this small island has a spectacular volcano where you can see the sulphur crystals forming. Don’t forget your camera! Kos can’t fail to please, as it really does have something for everyone.
