Want to Sell Your Timeshare?

November 13th, 2009

The best scam detector you have in your arsenal is your common sense. Before placing your money and property in someone else’s hands, it would be a good idea to do some research on that agency. Ask questions, check out their references, and contact the Better Business Bureau to see if any complaints have been filed against the agency. Remember the golden rule of buying and selling: if it’s too good to be true, then it probably is!

Do not decide on a whim. Spontaneity may be a good quality in other aspects of life, but not when dealing with anything to do with money. Your goal isn’t to line someone else’s pockets. Your goal is to sell your timeshare for its full market value. Beware of companies who require a fee before the sale of your timeshare has transpired. Even if they claim this fee is refundable once the sale is made, the best thing to do is turn on your heels and leave.

Remember the basic relationship between a company and a client. Pay only after the desired result is achieved. Once the agency has your money, you have taken away their incentive to work.

Planning for Perfect Weather on Your Trip

People ask all the time and think just because they are going to a tropical island that it doesn’t rain. Tropical Island’s get more rain in a month then some places do in a whole entire year.

Lefkada

November 12th, 2009

Lefkada ‘white island’ took its name from the white cape of cliffs and magnificent beaches of white sand and pebbles on the island’s southern coastline. The fourth largest remains relatively untouched by tourism and sits between Corfu and Kefalonia.

In ancient times Lefkada was joined to the mainland by a strip of land until the Corinthians excavated a canal in 7th Century BC. A swing bridge connects the two nowadays, which gives easy access to the mainland, but still enables Lefkada to retain its island status. It is a stunning, fertile island with breathtaking scenery and popular amongst the elite sailing society.

The stretch of coastline from Lefkas Town to Nidri is fringed by a ribbon of golden sand and shingle beaches stretching into a magnificent iridescent blue sea with enchanting views over to the satellite islets of Mandouri, Meganissi, Sparti, Scorpidi and Scorpios, the famous Onassis Family retreat.

Hotels In India

There are a number of questions to be answered before finding the right choice of hotel for your India trip: What are your individual interests and inclinations? Are you looking for a relaxed holiday in India, maybe on a beach or hill station where you can recharge your batteries? Or is your holiday incomplete without the adrenaline that accompanies rushing off cliffs and plunging into raging torrents?

While planning your India trip, consider where your hotel will be situated. As they say, it’s all about “location, location location.” For instance, if you have specific interest in India, say a wildlife reserve, it makes sense to stay as close as possible to it rather than book a hotel at a distance and spend time and energy commuting. Again, does your itinerary demand a central location or would you prefer a hotel in a choice setting with fabulous views?
